Amalie Hohenester's tomb

Amalie Hohenester is buried in the Kirchfriedhof cemetery in Ampermoching, where her husband Benedikt Hohenester (1827–1893) is also buried.The burial site, located near Röhrmoos and Dachau, is particularly significant because it is a short distance from Mariabrunn, where Amalie Hohenester carried out her most renowned work at the spa that made her famous in the 19th century.
