Angelo Celli's monument

This bronze monument, representing the well-known malariologist Angelo Celli, can be seen in Cagli (piazza San Francesco) in the province of Pesaro-Urbino in Marche.
It was realized by Angelo Biancini1 and inaugurated in 19582 after a commemoration organized by his fellow citizens in honour of the first centenary of his birth.

On the base the following inscriptions are found:
