Antoine Lavoiser's bust
This plaster bust of Antoine Lavoisier was sculpted by an unknown author. It can be seen at the bottom right side of the lecture hall of Istituto Chimico Giacomo Ciamician, in Bologna. It is located near the main desk. The bust is in this room since 1925, the lecture hall’s inauguration year. On the opposite side of the lecture hall there is another bust of the father of modern scientific method, Galileo Galilei.
