Antonio Cardarelli's birthplace

This is the house where Antonio Cardarelli was born on the 29th March 1831 and where he lived until the age of seventeen, when he moved to Naples in order to study Medicine. The building is situated in Civitanova del Sannio (Piazza Armando Diaz) and one of Cardarelli's nieces now abides there.
On the front of the house has been placed a little, marble tablet, with which the municipality wants to remember the “great clinician”, as he was called.
