Augusto Murri's home

Augusto Murri lived in this house of Bologna (via Murri, 2) for more than thirty years, from november 1901 until his death occurred in november 19321.

On the occasione of the ninth anniversary of his death, in November 1941, a memorial tablet was unveiled on the facade of the house. The Italian isncription reads as follows: "IN QUESTA CASA ABITO' E CHIUSE LA SUA VITA LONGEVA / AUGUSTO MURRI / CITTADINO ONORARIO DI BOLOGNA / PER QUARANTA ANNI SOMMO CLINICO MEDICO DALLA CATTEDRA BOLOGNESE / NELLA VIGILE VECCHIAIA CONSIGLIERE MERAVIGLIOSO A MALATI E DISCEPOLI / A CENTO ANNI DALLA SUA NASCITA / SOLENNEMENTE PROCLAMATO NELLO STUDIO BOLOGNESE / MAESTRO DI FAMA IMPERITURA / LA SOCIETA' MEDICA CHIRURGICA DI BOLOGNA E GLI ALLIEVI / CON VENERAZIONE E GRATITUDINE POSERO / FERMO VII. IX. MDCCCXLI - BOLOGNA XI. XI. MCMXXXII / MCMXLI . XIX".
