Cippo Garibaldi
“Cippo Garibaldi" is located in Sant' Eufemia d' Aspromonte. You can see the majestic tree characterized by a large cavity in which the companions of Giuseppe Garibaldi made him rest when he was wounded in the leg by Piedmontese troops, returning from the expedition to Sicily and going to Rome, in August 1862. Among the physicians who attended the wounded general there was his friend Enrico Albanese. Very close to the tree stands the Giuseppe Garibaldi's Mausoleum reminiscent of the exploits of the hero.
