Clara Barton National Historic Site

The home in Glen Echo, Maryland where Clara Barton lived from 1891 until her death in 1912, served as the first headquarters and warehouse for the American Red Cross.

Now declared a National Historic Site, Barton's house can be visited also with a virtual tour.
