Clemente Bertoni's funeral monument

This funeral monument of Clemente Bertoni can be seen on the right wall of the atrium of the church of Sant'Eustachio in Rome (Piazza di Sant'Eustachio). The monument was sculpted by Luigi Maioli.

An inscription engraved under the neck shows the doctor's place and date of death («Morì di Firenze 25 Agosto 1864»).
