Corrado Tommasi Crudeli's bust (copy)

This Corrado Tommasi Crudeli’s bust can be found along the Passeggiata del Gianicolo in Rome, among other busts of Garibaldini who fought for the Defence of Rome in 1849. The bust is a copy of the original one preserved in the Istituto di Igiene G. Sanarelli of Rome. The bust was moulded out of “marmorino” by Vito Castellarin and Silvano Bertolin (Height: 67 cm; Width: 43 cm; Depth:27 cm). It was placed in the Passeggiata del Gianicolo in 2002, during the celebrations for the centenary of Corrado Tommasi Crudeli’s death, commemorating his participation as volunteer doctor among the troop called Hunters of the Apennines under the command of Giuseppe Garibaldi.
