Corrado Tommasi Crudeli's memorial tablet

Corrado Tommasi Crudeli’s memorial tablet can be seen on the wall just before the entrance of the Museo “Laboratorio d’Epoca”¹ at the Istituto di Igiene G. Sanarelli in Rome (Piazzale Aldo Moro 5). It is in marble “bardiglio di Carrara” (Height: 45 cm; Width: 140 cm; Depth: 4 cm). It was originally located in the Istituto di Igiene Sperimentale.

The Italian inscription reads as follows:

CORRADO TOMMASI CRUDELI

RESTAURATORE DELLA MEDICINA SCIENTIFICA

CREO’ PRIMO IN ITALIA

L’ISTITUTO D' IGIENE SPERIMENTALE

DELL’UNIVERSITA’ ROMANA

E NEL 1885 LO INAUGURO’ IN QUESTA SCUOLA

CON LE CONFERENZE SUL CLIMA DI ROMA
