Corrado Tommasi Crudeli's memorial tablet

Corrado Tommasi Crudeli’s memorial tablet can be seen on the wall just before the entrance of the Museo “Laboratorio d’Epoca”1 at the Istituto di Igiene G. Sanarelli in Rome (Piazzale Aldo Moro 5). It is in marble “bardiglio di Carrara” (Height: 45 cm; Width: 140 cm; Depth: 4 cm). It was originally located in the Istituto di Igiene Sperimentale.

The Italian inscription reads as follows:

CORRADO TOMMASI CRUDELI

RESTAURATORE DELLA MEDICINA SCIENTIFICA

CREO’ PRIMO IN ITALIA

L’ISTITUTO D' IGIENE SPERIMENTALE

DELL’UNIVERSITA’ ROMANA

E NEL 1885 LO INAUGURO’ IN QUESTA SCUOLA

CON LE CONFERENZE SUL CLIMA DI ROMA
