Domenico Cirillo's bust (2)

This marble bust of Domenico Cirillo can be seen in the courtyard of the Ospedale degli Incurabili in Naples, just next to the entrance to the Museo delle arti sanitarie. On the pedestal, in addition to the doctor's name, there is the Latin sentence "AUDENDO AGENDOQUE", often used by Cirillo in his writings¹.
