Dr. Charles Gordon's surgeon's kit

This set of surgical instruments, made by George Teimann and Sons in 1845, belonging to Dr. Charles Gordon (1809-1872) can be found at the Paul S. Russell, MD Museum of Medical History and Innovation, Boston. It contains instruments for general surgery, amputating, trepanning and a set of ophthalmic instruments.
