Etienne-Jules Marey's instruments and memories
An important collection of instruments devised and used by Etienne Jules Marey can be seen in the Musée d'Histoire de la Médecine at the Université Paris Descartes in Paris.
In addition to the beautiful commemorative bronze plaque designed by Paul Richer and depicting the scientist in the background of his Station Physiologique,
you can admire a specimen of the famous portable sphygmograph (1860s)
a poligraph to simultaneously record blood pression and pulse rhythm
