FDR Hope Memorial

FDR Hope Memorial in the southern part of Roosevelt Island in New York celebrates the efforts of US President Franklin Delano Roosevelt against poliomyelitis, a disease he had suffered himself from, since he was 39yo. The bronze and granite monument is a work by American sculptor Meredith Bergmann and it was inaugurated in 20211.
