Wow she is amazing.. I chose to do my term paper on her because she is an inspiring women and someone i could look up to. she did what ever she had to do to become a doctor even if that ment tolorating the crap she went through to become one which was redic what she was put through..

Dr. Blackwell spent many summers on Martha's Vineyard where in her younger years she had an affair with her married neighbor Mr. Mayhew. He adopted his son and raised him w/o every tarnishing the incredible carreer of the woman I call my Great, Great Grandmother.

i am doin a history day project on elizabeth and found that she was absolutely amazing.. she is one of the greatest women in history! i would love to have actually gotten to meet her because she changed not only the medical field but she also changed the way society viewed women!!! women are just as good as men are and she knew that and wanted everyone else to know that too!! thats so freakin cool how she was so determined to reach her goal… i wanna be the same way!!! :-)

HECK YEA, SHE ROCKS! She is such a great roll model for any woman with a dream! She lets you know that you can acomplish anything you dream of, with just a little determination!

Wow, Elizabeth Blackwell seems like an amizing person! I only wish that i could meet her. She accomplished so man things, even though in her time, she wasn't supposed to even study medicine! I really admire her.
