Francesco Petrunti's monument

The great obelisk to the memory of Francesco Petrunti was one of the first monument placed in the Quadrato degli uomini illustri (Square of illustrious figures, 2nd block, n.59) in the Poggioreale Cemetery of Naples. The bas-relief portrait of the surgeon is a work by sculptor Angelo Solari (1775-1846).
