Garibaldi's wounding memorabilia

These memorabilia related to the wounding of general Giuseppe Garibaldi in August 1862 on the Aspromonte mountains are preserved in the Museo Centrale del Risorgimento of Rome (Piazza Venezia). Among them the blanket in which he was carried off the battlefield, one of the bullets and the boot holed by it, some surgical instruments belonged to Ferdinando Zannetti, one of the physicians who took care of him, bandages, etc.
