"Girolamo Fabrizi" by Pasqualoni (1856)

This oil-on-canvas portrait of Girolamo Fabrizi d'Acquapendente was painted by Vincenzo Pasqualoni in 1856 and it is currently displayed in the Mayor's office in the town hall of Acquapendente¹.

This portrait clearly derives from the 17th century's one, displayed in the "Sala di Medicina" of the University of Padua,² but has some more details such as the corpse lying in the background.
