Guido Baccelli's portrait

This oil-on-canvas portrait of a still relatively young Guido Baccelli can be seen in the central hall of the General Directorate of the Policlinico Umberto I in Rome. A plate on the frame states that the painting was a gift of a Torti Family to the Direction of the Policlinico. This is possibly the portrait of Baccelli made by Italian noblewoman and painter Francesca Magliani1.
