Henry Wellcome's life mask
This life mask of Henry Wellcome can be seen in the Medicine Man exhibition gallery of The Wellcome Building, in London. It "was made in the early 1900s and the impression from the straw that was inserted into Wellcome's nose to allow him to breathe is clearly visible. There are still a couple of moustache hairs stuck to the plaster"1.
