Ivan Horbachevsky's monument
As remembered by the monument on the facade, Ivan Horbachevsky lived in this house of Vienna (at the corner between Salvatorgasse and Marc-Aurel-Strasse). The monument was funded by the Austrian-Ukrainian Society and designed by the Lemberg sculptor Lubomyr Jaremczuk and the architect Vasyl Kamenshchyk. It was probably unveiled in 20081.
The bilingual inscription reads as follows: "In this place stood the house where the first Austrian Minister of Health, the Ukrainian biochemist and scientist Dr. John Horbaczewskyi lived in 1918”2.
