Jean-Baptiste Jupille's mural painting

This mural painting on the town hall of Villers-Farlay (54 Rue Louis Pasteur) remembers the 16-year-old shepherd Jean-Baptiste Jupille who, in 1885, was bitten by a rabid dog while trying to save his younger companions. He was later saved by Louis Pasteur through the inoculation of his new rabies vaccine.
