Jean Henry Dunant's monument

This bronze monument in honour of Jean Henry Dunant can be seen in the Parc des Bastions in Geneva. It was promoted with a national subcription, sculpted by Jacques Probst and unveiled on May 8th, 1963, as can be read on the pedestal. The monument represents an Angel (possibly the Archangel Gabriel), a mother with child and a wounded soldier.
