John Hughes Bennett's memorial tablet

This memorial tablet in the entrance corridor of the Edinburgh Medical School in Edinburgh remembers John Hughes Bennett who was "Professor of the Institutes of Medicine" of the University and "who in 1845 was the first to identify the disease leukaemia".
