John McCrae's monument (Remember Flanders)

This monument of John McCrae was commissioned to Canadian sculptor Ruth Abernethy in view of the centennial anniversary (May 3, 2015) of the creation of the poem "In Flanders Fields". It was unveiled on June 25, 2015, in front of the Civic Museum of Guelph (52 Norfolk Street). Another copy of the monument was commissioned by the Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery.
