This oil-on-canvas painting by Paul Prévôt is named La salle III à l’hôpital temporaire du Grand Palais (Paris, 1916) and represents one of the public building of Paris that were temporarily transformed in auxiliary hospitals during the World War I. As an example, the service of prosthesis for amputees was located in the Grand Palais. The painting can be seen the Musée du Service de Santé des Armées in Paris.
