Lodovico Leoni's funeral monument

Lodovico Leoni died for a pestilence in 1528 and was buried in the basilica of Santa Maria dei Servi, Bologna. In 1571 his two sons, Ascanio and Leone, had him made a funeral monument which can still be seen over the entrance door to the main sacristy of the church¹.
