Louis Pasteur's monument (Dole)

This bronze monument to Louis Pasteur can be found in Saint-Mauris park of his hometown, Dole (2 Quai Pasteur). It was funded with an international subscription and inaugurated on August 3, 1902. Its sculptor was Antonin Carlés and the architect was Leon Chifflot. At the scientist's feet, a mother with two sick children while another female figure points to the scientist.
