Luigi Carlo Farini's portrait

This oil-on-canvas portrait of Luigi Carlo Farini by an unknown painter can be seen in the Civic Museum of Russi (Via Don Minzoni), near the physician's battered marble head. The portrait was donated by Farini himself to his friend Elisabetta Venturi Bertozzi, whose granddaughter Maria Luisa Casarini Goggia made of it a bequest to Russi's Municipality1.
