Luigi Luciani's memorial tablet
On an external wall of the 'Istituto di Fisiologia Umana' in "La Sapienza" University, Rome (Viale Regina Elena, 330), a memorial tablet of Luigi Luciani can be seen, near the entrance to the hall dedicated to the physiologist. The italian inscription reads as follows: "A LUIGI LUCIANI / DAL MDCCCXCIV AL MCMXVII / IN QUESTO ATENEO / SOMMO MAESTRO DI FISIOLOGIA UMANA / COLLEGHI ED ALLIEVI". In the center of the tablet a bronze bas relief portrait of Luciani signed by sculptor (Giuseppe?) "Tonnini 1913".
