Old Masters' bas-relief
The central marble bas-relief along the staircase of the Theatrum Anatomicum of the medical school in Montpellier is dedicated to some famous masters and students of the medical school, such as - left to right - Guillaume Rondelet, François Rabelais, Pierre Richer de Belleval, Jean Astruc, Théophile de Bordeu and Pierre Magnol. In the center, there is a sculpted profile of Hippocrates with his Greek name and the rod of Asclepius below him.
