Ospedale Civile Ss Giovanni e Paolo

The Ospedale Civile Ss Giovanni e Paolo is the main hospital of Venice (Castello 6777). Its entrance building is the former Scuola Grande di San Marco.

The magnificent ground floor hall, known as "Portego delle Colonne", welcomes the visitors in a totally unexpected way for a working hospital.
