Paolo Mascagni

This page lists items in the database related to the italian anatomist Paolo Mascagni (b. Pomarance, Volterra, Italy, 25 January 1755; d. Florence, Italy, 19 October 1815).

He is remembered for his important work on the lymphatic system, published in 1787, when he held the chair of anatomy in the University of Siena, and for the series of magnificent anatomical plates published after his death: the Anatomia Universa1.
