Riccardo Dalla Vedova's bust

This bronze bust of Riccardo Dalla Vedova can be seen at the foot of the main staircase of the Orthopedics Department of the Policlinico Umberto I, located in a separate building in the nearby Università La Sapienza of Rome. As it can be read in the Italian inscription, the bust was a gift of Dalla Vedova's disciples in 1936, when the new building for the Orthopedics Department was inaugurated, thanks to the tenacity of the master.
