Rosalind Franklin tomb
Rosalind Franklin was buried in her family tomb in the Willesden United Synagogue Cemetery (Beaconsfield Road), in London.
Funeral service and burial took place the day after Rosalind's death1.
On the gravestone can be read the following inscription: "IN MEMORY OF / ROSALIND ELSIE FRANKLIN / [Hebrew characters] / DEARLY LOVED ELDER DAUGHTER OF / ELLIS AND MURIEL FRANKLIN / 25TH JULY 1920 - 16TH APRIL 1958 / SCIENTIST / HER RESEARCH AND DISCOVERIES ON / VIRUSES REMAIN OF LASTING BENEFIT / TO MANKIND / ת נ צ ב ה "2.
The reference to her "discoveries on viruses" now sounds a bit as an understatement.

initials of תהיה נשמתה צרורה בצרור החיים, her soul shall be bound in the bundle of life (a quote from 1 Samuel 25,29).
Thank you very much, Aaron! I've added to the main text your useful explanation…
