The Sala "Paolo Mascagni" in the Accademia dei Fisiocritici in Siena is a tribute to the great Italian anatomist Paolo Mascagni who was President of the Accademia in 1798-99. It hosts the great sienese heritage of Mascagni consisting of his archive and library, some of his anatomical preparations and three copies of the magnificent tables of the Anatomiae Universae, two copies of the black and white edition (currently guarded in the tailored wooden box called "macchinismo del Sig. Berlingozzi") and one coloured (displayed on the walls of the hall). The hall was inagurated the 18th of June 1998.
