Samuel August Tissot memorial tablet

One of the Medical monuments and memories in the University central seat, in Pavia, is the marble memorial tablet to the memory of Samuel August Tissot.

The latin inscription remembers his staying in Pavia: "In 1780 Tissot accepted a professorship in Pavia, where he taught clinical medicine until 1783; he then returned to Lausanne"¹.
