Santa Maria dell'Arco's parish

One of the most important places related to Vittorio De Marino and his family is Santa Maria dell'Arco's Parish in Villaricca, which is situated in Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII, in front of De Marino's birthplace. It was built on the ruins of the old Saint Simplicio's Church, in 1407, and it was later restored in 1740. Both the baptismal font and the altar where he celebrated his first Mass are located in this parish.
