Santiago Ramon y Cajal's statue (replica)

This statue of Santiago Ramon y Cajal is a modern replica of the one sculpted in 1931 by chilean artist Lorenzo Dominguez. The replica has been placed in 1998 in the original spot in the gardens of the old School of Medicine of San Carlos in Madrid, while the original statue is preserved in the nearby "Jardin de Cajal" now belonging to the Ilustre Colegio Oficial de Médicos de Madrid.
