Sir Henry Wellcome's residence

Henry Wellcome, the famous founder of an international pharmaceutical company and compulsive collector of historical medical items, lived in this beautiful home of London (6 Gloucester Gate), just on the border of Regent's Park.

A blue plaque of the "English Heritage" remembers the famous inhabitant, even if today the home has no longer any connection with the branched out inheritance of Sir Henry, the Wellcome Trust, world's largest private biomedical charity.
