Smart pump

This "smart pump" can be found in Paul S. Russell, MD Museum of Medical History and Innovation, Boston.This Baxter Auto Syringe infusion pump (c.1988), designed at MGH, and manufactured in Hookset, New Hampshire, was an early smart pump that could be programmed with a patient body weight, the drug "mix" and the "dose rate".
