Stabilimento Idroterapico Sella

The "Grand Hotel e Stabilimento Idroterapico di Andorno" in Sagliano Micca (via Roma, 127) was a fashionable hydrotherapic facility. It was founded by Antonio Sella (1853-1931) in 1888 and was closed in 19371. The Hotel offered hydrotherapy, electrotherapy, medical gymnastics, massages, etc. In the summers 1900 and 1901, Aldo Castellani was the physician of the facility. Later the building became a rehabilitation center for people with poliomyelitis and dyskinetics. The building now hosts a charity for disabled people named Domus Laetitiae.
