The Operations House

The Casa d'Operacions (Operations House) is one of the pavilions of the modernist site of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona.

It was "built between 1902 and 1912 to accomodate the Hospital's operating theatres. Of particular note are the three apses that housed the operating theatres, with north-facing glazed walls and roofs to ensure maximun daylight. (…) The building communicates with the rest of the pavilions via underground passages"1.
