The Röntgenweg
1

The Röntgenweg is a 65-kilometre-long cultural and nature trail around the district of Remscheid-Lennep. It was inaugurated in 1995 to celebrate both the 150th anniversary of the birth of physicist and Nobel Prize laureate Wilhelm Conrad Röngenbirth in Lennep (now part of Remscheid-Lennep) and the 100th anniversary of his groundbreaking discovery of x-rays.
