Thomas Cadimustus's tomb (disappeared)
After his death, Thomas Cadimustus was buried in the church of Santa Maria del Popolo in Porta Flaminia1 in Rome (Piazza del Popolo, 12). Probably the engraving on the gravestone is no longer readable.
According to Gasparo Alveri's work2, the engraving stated as follow:
THOMAE CADIMVSTO
SECRETARIO APOSTOLICO
PAVLI III. PONT. MAX. MEDICO
VIRTVTE PROBITATE ET MORIBVS
INTEGERRIMO.
JOANNES BAPTISTA CADIMVSTVS B. M.
OBIIT QVARTO IDVS FEB.
M. D. XLVIIII.
