Antonio Bonfiglio sculpted the bronze bust representing Tiberio Evoli, in 1956. It is exposed in the garden of the Tiberio Evoli Hospital in Melito Porto Salvo, more precisely in the south corner facing the sea. It was donated to the Hospital on 22 July 1956, at the opening of three new pavilions and the Chapel, in memory of the magnificent devotion Tiberio Evoli had to his work.
On the stele of the monument there is an Italian inscription by the poet Giovanni Bertacchi that says: "IL NOME E L’EFFIGE / DI / TIBERIO EVOLI / ONORINO E CONSACRINO / QUESTO ASILO / CHE FRA LE ROVINE / DELLA SUA TERRA SCONVOLTA / GRANDE DI OPEROSO EROISMO / PEI SOFFERENTI EGLI CREAVA / QUI / DOVE IL MARE E LA SPIAGGIA / RICORDANO ANCORA GLI EROI / SBARCATI DALLA RIDENTE TRINACRIA / A PORTARE VITTORIOSI L’ITALIA."1 (May Tiberio Evoli ‘s name and effigy honor and consecrate this asylum which among the ruins of his devastated homeland, great of industrious heroism he created for the sufferings. Here, where the sea and the beach still remember the heroes who landed from the charming Trinacria who made Italy victorious)
