William Whitla's bust

This bronze bust of William Whitla by Gilbert Bayes RBS is placed in a stone niche on the west wall of the Whitla Hall, in the Queen's University of Ireland, Belfast, overlooking a stone paved terrace and the university road.

This stone was laid by the most honourable the marquess of Londonderry
Chancellor of the University on the eight day of july 1939
