Wooden Altarpiece

The wooden altarpiece was created in 1515 by Jan Van Wavere (1514 - 1521/1522) in which the salient episodes of the life of the saint are reproduced. It is located in the Saint Dymphna’s Church in Geel.
This artefact is well represented in Louis Hage's nineteenth century lithography found at this link: https://wellcomecollection.org/works/xgrnxnqc
